Maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health and ageing

Data portal

Cross cutting data are included in this section.  This includes demographic data, socio-economic and environmental data and policies.

Demographic data on country population size and distribution are important to understanding the overall impact of morbidity and mortality rates for specific age groups.  Also socio-economic and environmental data help us better understand how the situation in which the population resides may impact their health. Finally, health policies, laws and  strategies related to reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health provide insights into the governmental response.
