Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent Health and Ageing and Quality of Care Indicator Metadata Toolkit
Healthy Ageing indicators
Recommended by Technical Advisory Group for Measurement, Monitoring and Evaluation of the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing (TAG4MHA)
The Healthy Ageing Indicator Metadata Toolkit (HAIMT) is a platform that provides detailed overview of 35 core indicators recommended for monitoring UN Decade of Healthy Ageing (2021-2030). It includes a searchable database where users can find metadata for each indicator, including its definition, preferred data sources, method of measurement and limitations of the indicators. The platform will be updated annually as more information on indicator validation studies become available and it will continue to offer more detailed information on various indicators, data visualizations, and reports to support policymakers, researchers, and advocates in tracking progress and addressing challenges in healthy ageing. The HAIMT integrates links to data access for validated indicators to support countries and regions.
The Healthy Ageing indicator metadata toolkit includes:
- Search for indicators by keyword, domain, preferred data source, and data collection level
- Click the arrow to see the complete metadata for each indicator
